We’re letting external noise dictate our internal state. It mirrors exactly what happens when we ignore our own inner boundaries. You let the static in, and suddenly your nervous system is running on someone else’s frequency. Carl Jung talked about how, without a proper container, the shadow just projects outward. Without that mental filter, we become reactors.
