I’m still pretty new to all this, but I’ve been messing around with moon rituals lately. Honestly? It’s not for the usual stuff. I’m not trying to manifest a new job or calm my personal anxieties. Lately, every lunar cycle just feels heavy with something bigger. I keep stumbling across this term solastalgia, and it’s hitting way too close to home. It’s that weird, hollow ache of watching the world change while you’re still living in it. I think a lot of us are realizing that climate anxiety isn’t just a stressor we can meditate away. It’s becoming this recognized form of spiritual distress, especially as we push through 2026.

In my experience, traditional contemplative practices suddenly feel inadequate when the grief isn’t yours alone. Jung talked about the collective unconscious, how we’re all swimming in the same psychological waters regardless of our personal boundaries. When I pull The Tower or The Moon lately, I don’t read them as personal warnings anymore. They just feel like accurate mirrors of what’s happening outside my window. The symbolism shifts from "what does this mean for my love life?" to "how do I hold this much loss without breaking?"

I’m curious if anyone else is feeling this pivot. Is your spiritual practice becoming less about personal wellness and more about processing existential planetary grief? I’ve been trying to ground myself through simple earth-focused moon rituals, but I keep wondering if we’re just using ancient frameworks to survive a modern psychological rupture. It’s exhausting, but there’s also a strange clarity to it. When the veil feels thin, maybe it’s because the ground is actually shifting.

Does anyone else use tarot or astrological cycles as a container for eco-grief? Or am I just romanticizing the collapse? I’d love to hear how you’re navigating this.
