I get why van der Kolk’s trauma frameworks feel relevant here, but treating generational healing like a ledger of "ancestral debt" just feeds the exact commodification I’m trying to step away from in Toronto yoga spaces. If we’re actually sitting with that Saturn 12th shadow work, we need to focus on unglamorous nervous system regulation instead of aestheticizing it into another $150 "release your lineage" workshop. -
