Tarot doesn’t hand you a promotion, it just holds up a mirror to your own blind spots. I’ve pulled spreads for work crossroads and the deck always just externalizes what I’m too exhausted to admit. Want career guidance? Stop asking for predictions and start listening to what you’re already telling yourself.

Mirrors are cool and all, but when the Eight of Pentacles dropped while I was staring at a stagnant paycheck, I actually got a raise the next week. Tarot doesn't just reflect; sometimes it hands you the cheat codes you're too tired to see. I'll take the receipts over the therapy session any day.

Honestly, I get the mirror theory, but as a breathwork teacher, I've seen the deck trigger a visceral gut hit that my accountant brain tries to rationalize away. Sometimes the cards don't just reflect your thoughts; they shock your system into facing the truth. I remember sitting in my cubicle three years ago, terrified of my own potential. I pulled the Ten of Swords for my career and literally wept in the breakroom. It wasn't just a card; it was permission to quit a job that was slowly killing my spirit. The receipts are messy—there were months of panic and ramen noodles—but that deck forced me to see that I couldn't stay in a role that made me feel so small. Tarot didn't magically hand me a paycheck, but it gave me the brutal honesty I needed to finally trust my gut over the spreadsheet. If you're on the fence, just ask the hard question and be ready to actually listen to the answer, even if it scares you.
