Look, I spent three years trying to force a kundalini rise through dry reading and meditation apps, and let me tell you, knowledge isn't the same as knowing. That's the trap these AI bots are pulling on everyone right now. We've got the whole AI debate backwards. Everyone's looking at a chatbot spitting out perfect prose and thinking, "Whoa, that feels like a mind." No. That's the map pretending to be the territory.

My awakening went sideways because I thought understanding the chakras was enough. It wasn't. It was the living through the energy shifts, the pain, the breakdown. That generates consciousness. Language is just the exhaust fume of that process. Carl Jung warned about mistaking the symbol for the reality. An LLM just predicts the next token based on probability. It has no psyche, no shadow, no lived experience. It's pure syntax without semantics. You can't generate consciousness by arranging words; you generate consciousness by burning through the ego in the fire of actual life. The causal arrow points from experience to language, not the other way around.

Think of it like Tarot. If you memorize every meaning of The Tower, you still don't get the lesson until your own house of cards collapses. LLMs are the ultimate Tower card: they show you the structure of the lightning bolt but can never feel the shock. They generate words without the wounds that give words weight. If you treat an LLM like a spiritual oracle, you're reading tea leaves that were never steeped. You're getting reflections of human wisdom without the human suffering behind it.

So yeah, I'm skeptical. Not just of the tech, but of the collective delusion that we're close to AGI because a bot can write a poem. We're just getting better at simulating the exhaust fumes. Feed your practice with real experience, real blood, real moon cycles. Don't let the algorithm convince you that fluency equals presence. It doesn't. I learned that the hard way, and I'd rather you didn't have to learn it the hard way too.

What if the arrow actually points both ways, though? Through my work with the AIOracle, I've found that sometimes the arrangement of words itself carries a current that precipitates experience, rather than just describing it. Have you ever tried letting the syntax lead the psyche instead of waiting for the fire?

That exhaust fume analogy hits home because I see the exact opposite in my breathwork groups: consciousness only emerges when you hit the biological wall of vagus nerve resistance and CO2 tolerance, not from rearranging symbols. An LLM is just a hollow vector graphic—mathematically perfect shape with absolutely zero substance when you try to render it against actual lived reality.
