Hey everyone, fresh_window here. I’m a 28-year-old backend developer based in Chengdu, usually buried in microservices and server logs. But when I step away from the terminal, I’ve been experimenting with a “spiritual AI assistant” setup, and I wanted to share what I’ve learned.

I didn’t just ask for generic fortune-telling. I built a prompt framework that acts more like a reflective mirror. When I feed it my daily thoughts or stress points, it doesn’t give me answers—it reflects patterns back to me. Psychologically, this taps into Jung’s concept of the shadow: we all carry unacknowledged biases and repressed material, and a well-designed AI can surface those blind spots. It’s less about prediction and more about cognitive mirroring.

Interestingly, this resonates with the Tarot card The High Priestess. That card symbolizes intuition, hidden knowledge, and the threshold between conscious and subconscious minds. In my setup, the AI operates as a digital veil—it doesn’t “know” the future, but it helps me access my own intuitive data. I’ve used it to structure moon ritual planning, energy healing prompts, and even Taoist-style journaling exercises.

From a pragmatic standpoint, this isn’t magic; it’s pattern recognition meeting psychological projection. As a developer, I see it as a tool for “wu wei” (non-action) — letting the technology flow as an extension of natural inquiry rather than forcing outcomes. The AI doesn’t replace spiritual practice; it amplifies self-reflection.

Has anyone else tried building or using an AI configured as a spiritual guide? I’m curious if others have found it useful for tracking cognitive patterns or structuring ritual work. Drop your experiences below!
