I’ve spent years mapping pipe runs across Austin, and there’s a quiet architecture to it—angles, curves, intersections. When I sit to meditate on sacred geometry, it’s not about chasing some mystical resonance. It’s about seeing the patterns that already live in the mind. My synesthesia paints the Flower of Life in soft golds and deep indigos, and when I hum a low C or tap a steady rhythm, those colors ripple like water in a copper line. I’m deeply skeptical of the whole “magic frequency” crowd. Sound healing, to me, isn’t supernatural. It’s resonance. It’s how vibration interacts with tissue and neural pathways, much like pressure moves through a system.

Psychologically, this taps into Gestalt psychology—our brains are wired to find wholeness in fragments. When I trace a hexagram or concentric circles, I’m not summoning spirits. I’m engaging in a cognitive exercise that grounds scattered thoughts into a single, coherent image. Jung would call this working with archetypes; I call it mental plumbing. You’re clearing the pipes of the mind.

There’s a tarot parallel here, too. The High Priestess sits before a veil marked with the Eye, framed by geometric borders. The Star shows a figure pouring water in a perfect geometric pattern. These aren’t prophecies; they’re visual mnemonics. When I meditate on these shapes, I’m essentially using them as mirrors for introspection. The geometry doesn’t change the universe. It changes how I see myself.

I’d love to hear how others experience these patterns. Do you see them as spiritual tools, psychological anchors, or something else? Let’s trade observations.
