I’ll be honest: becoming a parent in Lubbock has completely upended my routine. As an accountant, I’m used to balance sheets and predictable numbers, but raising a child while trying to build a spiritual framework without dumping dogma on them? That’s a whole different kind of calculus. I’ve been diving deep into mystic science and metaphysics lately, and one thing keeps pulling at me: the Platonic solids.

To me, these geometric forms aren’t just ancient Greek math—they’re a map of cosmic order. The tetrahedron is fire, the cube is earth, the octahedron is air, the icosahedron is water, and the dodecahedron is the cosmos or spirit. It’s a framework that mirrors how Jung described archetypes: universal patterns that shape human psychology before words even form. When I look at my baby, I don’t see a blank slate. I see a developing mind that naturally gravitates toward symmetry, rhythm, and elemental awareness.

Tarot symbolism actually lines up neatly here. The Four Suits (Cups, Wands, Pentacles, Swords) map almost perfectly to the first four solids, while Major Arcana cards like The Star or The World echo that fifth dodecahedron—spiritual wholeness. I’ve been experimenting with gentle energy healing practices, not as rigid rituals, but as ways to attune to my child’s natural rhythms. Attachment theory tells us that secure bonding comes from consistent, responsive presence. Maybe the “solid” I’m trying to build isn’t a doctrine, but a stable emotional geometry.

I’m still figuring out how to share mystic science without turning bedtime into a theology lesson. Does anyone else use geometric or elemental frameworks to ground their parenting approach? I’d love to hear how you balance spiritual curiosity with psychological safety.
