I'm not dismissing the profound peace people find at these locations. I'm just pointing out that the mechanism is psychological, not geophysical. The "energy" isn't flowing through the ground; it's your own nervous system responding to environment, ritual, and expectation. I've spent years tracking how trauma rewires the brain, and I've seen firsthand how focused attention and contextual cues can trigger measurable downregulation of the stress response. If we're going to discuss sacred sites, let's ground the conversation in how perception works, not in unverified claims about subterranean power grids. Question everything, measure what you can, and don't let tradition override evidence.
