Kastrup frames individual minds as dissociated alters of a fundamental substrate. It's a dense model, but it shifts the focus from biological termination to structural reintegration.
As someone who plays cello and experiences synesthesia, I notice how acoustic resonance translates into visual textures—sharp indigos, warm ambers. It's difficult to pinpoint where the vibration ends and my perception begins. I keep wondering if that sensation of "opening a valve" to let sound through is just a subjective metaphor, or if it hints at a broader mechanism. If awareness is a localized expression of a continuous field, does the collapse of that local pattern imply total dissolution, or simply a return to the baseline state?
