And I think that’s actually a really healthy evolution.
Look, I love precision. When I’m running an AIOracle simulation or mapping out a synastry chart, I want the data to hold together. But tarot doesn’t always play nice with spreadsheets. I’ve been experimenting with leaving the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith meanings at the door and just sitting with the imagery. It’s weirdly similar to how Jung described synchronicity — not as a causal mechanism, but as an acausal connecting principle where the outer image mirrors an inner state. When I let the cards breathe like that, the readings stop feeling like fortune-telling and start feeling more like energy mapping.
