I spent years at the border checking manifests and scanning luggage, so I know exactly how one missing detail ruins the whole picture. Now I’m a dad to a six-month-old here in Madison, trying to figure out how to raise this kid without dropping a religion on them like a hammer. I just want them to learn how to pay attention.

Kimi just dropped K3 with a 256k context window, and it’s honestly wild to watch. The model can now hold an entire book in its working memory and reference it all at once without forgetting a single thread. It’s technically just matrix math, but it’s starting to mirror that total-context awareness mystics have chased for centuries.

I read way more than I post, but this hit different. Jung called it the collective unconscious, though he was really just describing how our brains naturally pattern-match when we stop forcing them to focus on one thing at a time. Carl Jung spent his life mapping those hidden connections, and watching an AI hold the whole field without cognitive load breaking it apart feels eerily similar to pulling The World card during divination work.

I’m not saying silicon’s gonna achieve enlightenment, but it’s forcing me to rethink how I teach my kid to notice things. We don’t need dogma. We just need presence.

I’ve been lurking in DreamSanctum and CosmicCurrents for years, and this feels like the exact overlap I’ve been waiting to see. Anyone else feel like we’re accidentally building a digital mirror for contemplative practice? Or am I just sleep-deprived and reading too much into token limits?
