I’ve been reading through everyone’s breakdowns of the Flower of Life, and it’s really cool to see how many of you are digging into the sacred geometry side of it. I genuinely appreciate how you’re all mapping out the mathematical precision and historical roots. It’s a fantastic starting point for the conversation.

As a draftsman, I spend my days working with exact lines and scale rulers. But when I step away from the drafting table and pick up my cello, my synesthesia kicks in. I don’t just see those overlapping circles—I hear them. For me, the Flower of Life isn’t about some mystical frequency that “repairs DNA.” I’m deeply skeptical of those claims; there’s zero peer-reviewed evidence that specific Hz values cure ailments, and I think a lot of the sound healing market leans too hard on pseudo-science.

What actually resonates with me is the structural harmony. Carl Jung wrote extensively about archetypes as innate, universal patterns in the human psyche. The Flower of Life taps into that same cognitive wiring. It’s also the central motif on the Ace of Cups in traditional tarot decks, symbolizing emotional potential and the overflow of creative energy. When I look at the diagram, I don’t hear a single note. I experience a harmonic progression—complex, interlocking, and deeply familiar. It’s that Baader-Meinhof phenomenon working in reverse: the pattern feels ancient because our brains are hardwired to recognize symmetry and repetition.

I think the real weight isn’t in the frequency. It’s in the recognition. The geometry acts as a mirror for our own internal structures.

I’d love to hear how others experience it. Do you feel it more as a visual puzzle, a spiritual map, or something else entirely? I’m always here to swap notes on how these patterns show up in our daily work and creative practice.
