Look, I’ve spent half my life as a draftsman, and I know a blueprint when I see one. Living here in Lisbon, I’ve seen enough shifting landscapes to know the difference between a static foundation and a living structure. A natal chart is a static map of your birth moment—it’s the foundation. Dreams? They’re the shifting interior walls, constantly remodeling. Stop trying to force them into the same astrological grid. They operate on entirely different frequencies.

When you’re dealing with dreams, you’re diving into Jungian psychology, not planetary transits. The subconscious doesn’t care about Mercury in retrograde; it cares about archetypes, the shadow, and emotional resonance. Tarot symbolism works the same way. The Major Arcana aren’t fate-predicting oracles; they’re psychological states. The Tower isn’t a bad omen—it’s the sudden restructuring of your worldview. If you’re using crystals to focus your attention or doing moon rituals to sync with natural cycles, that’s fine. But treat them as grounding tools, not magical shortcuts.

I’ve read heavily on mysticism since dropping out of college, and let’s be blunt: I have zero patience for the esoteric rigidity of people like Aleister Crowley. That whole occult framework feels like over-engineered dogma. I’d much rather follow Alan Watts’ approach to consciousness—accessible, philosophical, and rooted in actual self-awareness. Real inner alchemy is about transforming base experiences into clarity, not chanting Latin incantations.

If you want to interpret dreams effectively, map them against your psychological landscape, not your birth chart. Note recurring symbols, track emotional resonance, and use your drafting mindset: sketch the patterns, don’t force the grid. How do you separate psychological symbolism from astrological overcomplication?
