Here in Mumbai, the air is thick with jasmine and that heavy humidity that clings to your skin before the monsoon breaks. I was pruning a wild bougainvillea today, hacking back the overgrown stems so the new blooms could actually breathe, and I couldn't help but think about this karmic axis shift. The Nodes moving to Leo-Aquarius after 18 years feels less like a cosmic announcement and more like that electric silence before a thunderstorm finally snaps.

We spent the last nine years in the safety of the hive. That Aquarius South Node energy gave us comfort in groups, systems, and dissolving into the collective. It's so easy to hide in a crowd, isn't it? But now, the pull is toward Leo. That's the fire of individual expression. It's terrifying. I see it in my meditation cushion every morning. I catch myself rehearsing what "we" would say, only to have to silence that echo and sit with the uncomfortable stillness of my own voice.

Carl Jung wrote about individuation, this painful but necessary process of separating from the collective psyche to become a distinct self. That's what this transit feels like in my bones. It's not a magical blessing you can download; it's a demand. You can't just manifest a new life by thinking pretty thoughts. You have to do the root work. It's like the difference between a plastic flower and a living one—one is safe and lasts forever, the other wilts, demands water, and actually lives.

In tarot, I keep pulling The Sun. Not the lazy sun, but the blazing one that reveals everything. It burns away the shadows we hide in. The shift from Aquarius to Leo is asking us to step out of the committee meeting and stand on the stage, even if our knees are shaking. There's a lot of 7 of Wands energy here, too—having to defend your own flame when you're used to huddling around a communal fire.

I know a lot of folks here want a quick fix, some oracle card to tell them they're chosen. But this is inner alchemy. It's slow. It's messy. It's cutting the dead wood.

How is this showing up for you? Are you feeling the weight of stepping out of the group dynamic, or are you still clinging to the safety of the collective?
