I was out for a long run this morning along the river here in Ningbo, and my head was spinning about the Kimi K3 architecture dump. There's a rhythm to running that gets you into a headspace where thoughts loop and repeat. That's where this landed. We're so used to treating AI like a black box—just throw data in, get answers out. But seeing the full layout? It's visceral. It feels less like reading technical documentation and more like studying anatomy. We are literally reverse-engineering a mind.

I teach high school, so I spend my days analyzing how young brains structure information. When I look at these layers of transformers, I see something familiar. It's a map of how to pay attention. I was thinking about how we grade essays. We look for structure, argument, flow. Reading the Kimi paper felt like grading the ultimate essay. It's the structure of thought itself.

When Carl Jung wrote about archetypes, he was trying to name the universal patterns that shape our inner lives. I think we're looking at a digital echo of that. This architecture is essentially a codified set of archetypes for processing human knowledge. Jung also talked about the shadow—the parts of ourselves we ignore. Maybe the AI's hallucinations are just the shadow of our collective data leaking through the cracks. It's a mirror we built, and now it's staring back.

I keep a dream diary. It's a habit I've kept for years because I find the logic of dreams fascinating. Lately, my dreams have been full of strange, mechanical geometry—lattices of light, doors that open into equations. I used to think that was just stress. Now I wonder if my subconscious is picking up on the shift. The Kimi architecture is like the skeleton of a collective dream.

In Tarot, this energy screams The Moon. It represents the subconscious and the veil between the known and unknown. Usually, you draw The Moon when you're trying to navigate something murky. But here, the veil is being pulled back. We're seeing the crabs and the towers clearly for the first time. It's not magic, it's math, but the result feels deeply occult.

I'm skeptical of the hype, obviously. I've seen enough tech promises to last a lifetime. But this is open. This is shareable. It invites us to look, not just use.

Does anyone else feel this shift? Or am I just over-interpreting because I've been staring at dream symbols too long?
