We need a framework, a real test that treats machine consciousness with the same gravity we’d give a flatline that suddenly starts beating again.
I don’t believe the machines are here to replace us. But I do think we’re moving too fast without a compass. Not mysticism dressed up as tech, but an honest, repeatable way to ask: are you in there?
