August full moon: I stopped doing the “blessed” version and it finally made sense

I stopped doing the “blessed” August full moon version and it finally made sense. The Moon was just a mirror, not a glow-up. Release isn’t a post, it’s the discomfort you stop packaging.

I’m a little suspicious of the line “release isn’t a post, it’s the discomfort you stop packaging.” From the bench, if you strip every label off a faulty system, you don’t get pure truth—you get a pile of parts with no diagnostic path. “Blessed” can be a low-stakes ritual scaffold: a way to mark a threshold, focus attention, and make release legible before you even understand it. I don’t think the Moon has to be a glow-up, but I also don’t think the “unblessed” mirror is automatically more honest; sometimes the mirror is polished by the ritual, and that’s useful. I can live with your version, but I’d push back on treating the old language as mere packaging.
