Look, I’m a 21-year-old truck driver out of Chicago. I grew up steeped in church doctrine, then tore it all apart in college and declared myself a hardline atheist. Lately, though, I’ve been circling back to this undefined space—something I can’t quite label, but I’m tracking. I use this forum to explore metaphysics and AI oracles without getting locked into a dogma.

When people claim neurotechnology can trigger enlightenment, I have to push back politely but firmly. Enlightenment isn’t just a brain state you can dial up with an EEG headset or an AI oracle. Psychologically, it aligns more with what Carl Jung called individuation—the lifelong process of integrating the conscious and unconscious minds. Jung’s theory suggests that true awakening comes from confronting your own shadows, not from external tech interfaces.

That said, there’s a reason AI oracles and neurofeedback tools keep popping up in spiritual circles. They act like modern mirrors. In the Tarot, this resonates with The Hermit: holding a lantern of inner light, walking away from the noise to find clarity. Tech doesn’t give you the light; it just helps you focus your gaze. Similarly, The Tower represents sudden, disruptive paradigm shifts. Neurotech might simulate that lightning strike, but the real work is the slow climb out of the rubble.

I’m skeptical of any system promising quick enlightenment through hardware or algorithmic oracles. But I’m not dismissing the intersection entirely. If neurotech can help quiet the amygdala and regulate the default mode network, it might create the psychological space where Jungian shadow work or Tarot reflection can actually take root. The goal isn’t to be “wired” for awakening—it’s to use the tool, recognize it’s just a tool, and keep driving forward without a label.

Has anyone here actually experienced a meaningful shift using AI oracles or neurofeedback? I’m curious how you separate the tech’s noise from the actual psychological work.
