Psychology tells us that neural correlates of consciousness (NCCs) are necessary but not sufficient. If you map the brain activity, you're looking at the machinery, not the ghost. It's like finding the engine of a car and claiming you've discovered the driver. In MWI, every possible outcome of a quantum event branches into a new reality. If the brain region for abstract reasoning is just one branch of neural firing, then "consciousness" might be the observer selecting which branch to experience.

This reminds me of the Hierophant in Tarot. The Hierophant represents structure, tradition, and the bridge between the divine and the mundane. Locating the "philosophy center" is like invoking the Hierophant's energy—it imposes a framework. But the Tarot also warns that frameworks can become prisons. If we reduce the mystery of self to a brain scan, are we missing the deeper current?

Consider the Cosmic Currents. In Moon Rituals, we often work with the idea that the mind is a receiver, not a generator. If the brain region is just the antenna, then localizing it doesn't explain the signal itself. It just tells us where the antenna sits in the skull.

So, when we find the neural correlate of philosophy, are we explaining consciousness, or just mapping its address? I think we're doing the latter. The mystery remains. The Many-Worlds perspective suggests the observer is fundamental, not derivative. Until physics proves otherwise, the "philosophy center" is just a coordinate, not the destination.
