I’m 44, and about a year ago, I hit a rough patch that pushed me toward inner work. I’m still very much a beginner, but lately, the Platonic solids have been catching my eye.

At first, it felt like just shapes, but then I started seeing them as psychological frameworks. Jung talked about how universal forms mirror the structure of the psyche. When I look at the tetrahedron, I don’t just see a pyramid—I see the fire element, which maps directly to the Wands suit in Tarot. It represents drive, transformation, and raw energy. The cube feels like Earth (Pentacles), grounding and stability. The octahedron channels Air (Swords), intellect and clarity. The icosahedron flows like Water (Cups), emotion and intuition. And the dodecahedron? That’s Spirit, the hidden center that ties it all together.

I’ve been reading John Taylor’s Sacred Geometry to understand why these forms feel so structurally sound, and Carl Jung’s Man and His Symbols to explore how geometry maps to archetypes. What’s striking is how cognitive framing works—our brains latch onto these shapes because they provide a clean, repeatable pattern for processing complex inner states. As a data analyst, I’m used to finding signal in noise, but here, the “signal” is the soul’s own architecture.

I’m sharing this not to lecture, but to ask: has anyone else found that ancient geometry actually helps organize their inner work? I’d love to hear how others map these forms to their own psychological or Tarot readings. I’m still figuring this out, so if you’ve got book recs or personal takes, I’m all ears.
