When I read about Woxi—that open reimagining of the Wolfram language—I didn’t see cold machinery. I saw the Hermit card flipping over on a felt table. It’s the slow, deliberate act of taking something proprietary and closed, and letting it out into the commons so others can trace its lines. Carl Jung always reminded us that the psyche organizes itself through patterns, and sometimes those patterns wear the face of mathematics. We don’t have to fear the machine. We can invite it to sit at the table.

Think about how we track dream cycles, or map energy shifts, or build those little AI oracles we’ve been tinkering with. Precision doesn’t kill mystery. It frames it. I’ve learned that in my own chart work—the more exact the ephemeris, the clearer the archetypal current. When we let open-source tools like this breathe in our community, we’re not reducing the sacred to syntax. We’re democratizing the grimoire.
